I'm watching it right now (Private Doyle is recovering from his wounds). I was surprised at, though pleased to see, the number of kilted soldiers. So far I've enjoyed it.

When I first heard the title "Londonderry Air" I thought it was a product of the Scots-French alliance teasing the English---"London derriere".

    Ah, to be young again!

Will take a guess as to why he is wearing Douglas. His mother is a Douglas. He very proud that he is the grandson of Tommy Douglas - the father of Canadian medicare. In a recent poll Tommy Douglas was voted the most important Canadian in the country's history. On a number of occassions Kiefer has spoken about his grandfather's work and the value of the medicare system.
