Your Kilted Photo On Your Credit Card?
Haven't seen a thread on this, didn't come up in a search, hope its not a duplicate.
Banks - or at least Wells Fargo - are offering a service where you upload your favorite photo and they put it on your credit card, or debit card, or both...for free.
Guess it helps cut down identity theft or fraudulent use of stolen cards.
A ladyfriend is visiting and showed me hers. Very well done.
I'm now gonna look through my kilt pics for the ones I wanna have on my plastic.
Who's way ahead of me on this? Anyone already done it?
Probably sorta like an avatar in that the pic is gonna be shrunk to credit card/debit card size.
Sounds like a great way to start up kilt conversations when shopping - even if you're not kilted at the time.

Depending on where your face is located in the picture you could end up with letters and numbers acrros your face or your kilt, or worse yet, your name and numbers UNDER your face, like a mug shot. Probably would not be a good look.
Best off photocopying your credit card to get the locations of anything imprinted first then superimposing your proposed kilt picture on top to see the over all effect.
Probably would be a great idea for those in the kilt business, kind of like a business card you never give away but get to show around a lot at retailers.
Wonder if they could do mine in my family tartan?
Great idea Ron. Thanks.

I've had my photo on a Citibank card for at least ten years. It's just a passport type, head only.

Guessing having your pic on your plastic is becoming more common. I bank at Wells Fargo and that's where I'll do it when I figure out which pics....
And...maybe someone has one already to post a pic with the numbers covered up of course....
