Weekend full or piping
What I wore to my Irish gig:
I decided to just go with a black sporran and shoes. It was simpler that way.
On the ferry to Loch Diabhal (or as the locals call it: Devil's Lake)
I went with the Riverkilt vest sans sporran.
Here I am in front of Balanced Rock. Pipes are in the backpack.
Piping at the top of the west bluffs over the lake.

Those are great pictures! I too, like that last one, but they're all good.
My saffron SWK heavyweight has become one of my favorite kilts. Maybe someday I can get one custom made.

Nice choices Greg, and you look ultra comfortable on the ferry, I too really like that last shot, but also really like the one with balanced rock too. Thanks for posting them.

The black, white and grey really show off the saffron kilt.

I would be worried about leaning too hard against that rock, but I think I would have enjoyed being down on the shore of the lake while you played the pipes - so long as it wasn't Amazing Grace or Scotland the Brave - had my fill of that at Grandfather Mountain.

Yeah, I was about 500ft. above the beach. My dad, who didn't do the hike up, said he could hear Highland Cathedral ringing out over the water.
