ALL RIGHT!!!
Great news, Jock. Take your time and get settled in. We know that the first few days of being home will be emotional for you. One of the things that I have heard, not sure how true but my experiance with Mom's hospital stay seems to agree, is that for every day you spend in the hospital you will need one week's time for recovery at home. This is not meant to discourage you but to let you know that it will take some time to get totally recovered. Waiting for that new gun that will be standing in the corner with your fly rods will give you a target. Take care and finish healing my friend.

So, when I get home THIS WEEK, I am going to order a new pair of guns, 20 bores, and a couple of new fishing rods!!!!!! Whether I will ever use them is down to some very hard work from me, luck, and, most importantly of all, a huge amount of brave understanding from my loved ones. We all know the risks, there are some major ones, but we all agree that life is for living and wrapping me up in cotton wool is no life for me! My word, I am proud of my family!
GREAT DAY! I have no doubt that if you set your goals, don't get too discourage by the inevitable set backs, you will find a way...and if not the exact same old pleasures and pastimes, new ones will present themselves...Congratulations on your escape, and good wishes for the work ahead...Regards

Grand news Jock. Being at home is the best medicine available! I have long said a hospital is the worst place to send someone to get well

Sounds like a great morale boost! A loving and supporting family are very good healers.
