Well last night was a kilt night at the Queen's Head, we had visitors from all over, Old Hippie was in from B.C., Dee and Ron were up from Virginia and the Saltire made it as well. We also had locals Uncle Ricky, Duchess of NC and myself. It was a good night and it was nice to reconnect with Dee and Ron and meet Charles.
One thing about XMarkers that I've noticed over my time here is the sheer generosity that most show, we were given two more wedding presents tonight, so thank you again Charles, Dee and Ron for your cards and gifts they are greatly appreciated.
Onto the photos
The Saltire at the Queens Head, Charles was calling this one Blimp with single malt and beer or something like that
Dee with an old friend

Dee did promise a toast to the NorCal Rabble so this was part of it.

The adventures in Toronto will continue.

The Saltire was restless again today, and so we all went to the Ontario Science Centre. Here are a few photos
They had thin neat little display on the floor when you stepped on it the circles of light showed up so I took the opportunity to do a skip change of step down to se what it would look like

We still have the Saltire but we are making plans for it's departure to parts unknown. Today however was another wee adventure for the wee airship. We took Sir William who is visiting Toronto this week to a few tartan shops first it was up to Burnett's and Struth so Bill could look at their casual kilt sale. I am amazed that I did not purchase anything, but I suppose at this point I do not need anything so perhaps that's why. Anyway we got this photo of Sir William the wee airship and the woman at the shop whose name I did not get.
She asked me if I was a the Fergus Highland Games and was it me who posted the photo of the Bilt Kilt on XMarkstheScot. So I guess they will see this post as well, they really are great at Burnett's and the casual sale is not to be missed, I've got one and am seriously considering one more.
The drive back down was uneventful and we decided to go by the Scottish Company one of the local tartan shops in Toronto however no photos there as we did not think about it.
