A Proud Day
No tartan kilts yet, but a Black UK Mocker can be dressed up a little.
May 8, 2009: becoming a citizen of Canada (and US/Canadian dual citizen).
The poor Mountie looks like he's in pain because the day was about 30 degrees C and he's wearing a tight wool jacket.
Among the various nationalities represented at the ceremony was a lady from Scotland. She was surprised and pleased to see a kilt.
Afterward we had a nice conversation over the cake and coffee provided.
