Take a look at Glen & Jamie's post on different looks with the kilt. Browse through the different forums here to find the style you are comfortable with. Then start putting together a wish list. Keep an eye out for SOKS (Southern Ontario Kilted Society) nights. I am sure that your kilt with a Polo shirt, coloured hose or socks, and neat shoes are all that is needed for a beginning kilt look. A sporran with a strap is very useful for the car keys, change, etc. as many kilts do not have pockets. Welcome to the kilted world. Take it one step at a time, and check out our site's vendors, as they will give you the best opportunity to comparison shop for your wish list.
