Since the time I was in the RAF, I've thought that hiking or marching in interesting countryside eases the journey. And what wonderful countryside you have there - Thanks for sharing.

Alan, thanks for posting the pictures, looks like you had a wonderful time. I too have a beautiful hiking partner, which makes the trips all the better. Were you able to repair the kilt after the mouse attack?

Fab pics Alan. Theres nout like a good adventure with a pack on your back. We haven't done that for many years, but you have set the seed for Elaine and myself to take to the tracks for at least a few days next year.
