If you ordered anything from Celtic Craft Centre and haven't received it yet, I'd suggest you contact your credit card company and do a chargeback. I was in Palm Springs four weeks ago and the shop was closed.
The Edinburgh shop doesn't respond to emails or phone calls, but I understand they are still in business.

The San Francisco store is out of business going on 18 months or more.

It has been a few months since the last time someone posted to this thread, but I would be interested in what the outcome was to the situation. I posted an order of a tank last June while they were at the Arlington, TX games and they indicated order fulfillment in October. When January arrived without a kilt, I began to contact them with the numbers I had on the sales receipt as well as email. I found that the phone numbers did work, but that the voicemail was full and not getting emptied over a couple of weeks. Then out of the blue in February I get a call from them letting me know that my kilt had arrived and they were about to send it out to me. They indicated they had been in Edinburgh for a couple of weeks. Anyway, I have the kilt now and it is well made.
I would like to know how your experience came out. They have extraordinarily good service in person, but it seems difficult to raise them on the tele, or over email.
May the grace of the Lord Jesus Christ, and the love of God, and the fellowship of the Holy Spirit be with you all.

My first, last and main rule of business these days is : ANSWER YOUR PHONE! Gosh that gripes me. I know things get in you way, but voice mail is a horrid way of doing business. It tell your clients that you are basically more important then they are, so tough! The only thing thats worse than voice mail is talking to a computer. Arrgh!

I may be mistaken, but I recall that they had a booth at the Highland Games in Phoenix last month.

Would you order from them again? I would like to order another kilt from them. I already have a kilt from them, but after all the bad publicity they have received, I question whether they are a reliable company.

First, welcome aboard!
Second, while I would never say "avoid xxxxxx vendor at all costs", if you look around this site you will find plenty of vendors who have provided great service and quality time and time again with nary a complaint.

The US operation has gone down the pan but I believe they are hanging on in Edinburgh.
You may wish to read this thread before ordering anything.
Top tip: Use a credit card, at least you'll get your deposit back if you don't get a kilt.

Sorry to hear all that. I hope you get your problem solved. One of things I've liked about Scotweb is the service. (If you don't mind a plug from someone I'm very happy with)
