Day 8 – Evening Sight Seeing: B & B Creaganterve
We went to check me in at my B&B the “Creaganterve”. We were greated by Duff, the sheep that thought he was a dog.
Chris had a habit of saying the words, “mint sauce” every time he saw sheep. This was very disconcerning to Willie who would keep a low profile and hung out with Duff at the B&B the next few days.
Checking in with Phyllis the owner and dropping off my bags we went to see one of finest sunsets I’ve ever seen.

Day 8 – Sunset above Loch Crinan
There were several times the next couple of days when I thought Chris was going to kill me. It seemed after ever filling meal; Chris set me out to hike up some steep path. Let me tell you every time the reward was a sight well worth the effort.
We passed on a way up a trig point that is used for the British Ordinance Maps. This area is called Dunardry and overlooks Loch Crinan. Below is Chris’s cottage, Crinan and Duntrune. A sight to behold.
Tomorrow: Poltalloch Estates of Chief Robin Malcolm

Not only do I utter the words "mint sauce" I also use the words "horseradish sauce" at the cattle wandering around the roads. Great pictures, great scenery, great place.Of course I may be a wee tad biased!

It is in truth not for glory, nor riches, nor honours that we are fighting, but for freedom -- for that alone, which no honest man gives up but with life itself.
