Second Anniversary
Drove up to Duke yesterday for the second annual check of my ankle replacement and realized it also marks just over two years that I have been full time kilted. YEAH!!
Now I admit that I do not wear kilts while sailing or doing carpentry, yard work, or similar. I'm also starting a boat building class in September and will be building a two person kayak. Do not want any of my kilts around epoxy.
But apart from that I'm kilted at work (community college), social occaisions and any time I'm out. Highlights have included two trips to Seattle witha side trip once to Victoria, BC), January in Iowa and Illinois, a kilted wedding last year and honeymoon in Buenos Aires, Argentina. Two years of virually no hassles and lots of good comments.
