"Sentimental Journey" is a beauty! I got a chance to climb around in her when she visited the air show in nearby Elmira, NY, years ago. The museum there fell on hard times, and unfortunately had to sell their B-17G, the "Fuddy Duddy."
My dad is a Singer-Link retiree, and was one of Ed Link's boys back in the early '50s. He worked on all of the great Link trainers and simulators, from those early tiny examples, up through and including the Apollo LEM and command modules, and the SR-71 "Blackbird" spy-plane. The latter was a top secret project at the time, and Dad couldn't even tell us what he was working on...!
