Zardoz speaks to you...
Right on the money Glen!
The XMarks is becoming my go-to tartan for dressy wear, I'd love to have a tie like that to compliment it!

Arrgh... can't see the pictures right now!! My Work thinks photobucket is the Devils spawn and we must be protected from it at all costs and I'm not home again for another two weeks.
Jock Scot inadvertantly got the ball rolling on another thread here and MoR suggested an Xmarks club tie on that thread using a design created on an online tie designer site here, which used a petrol blue broadstripe and a gold narrow stripe on an Indigo background. I liked that alot.
Forgive me if this has already been suggested in pictures on this thread but as I said, I can't see them so bear with me.
Oh yeah, woven silk for me too please. Any idea how much?

silk or wool
It is in truth not for glory, nor riches, nor honours that we are fighting, but for freedom -- for that alone, which no honest man gives up but with life itself.

How about this. A lot of people already have some of the fabric.

I'm in too, if cost is reasonable. I'm saving my pennies for an XMTS tartan kilt and the tie would go great with it.

I was thinking of that idea as well. A tie in the XMTS tartan cut on the bias like a band tie.
