    Celtic Croft has that tartan in their 'homespun' wool line, that's a good choice for greatkilts, $30 per yard 54" wide.

    I'm pretty sure that since your heart is set on Campbell Ancient, the homespun Zardoz linked you to is your best bet. You'll not find that tartan any cheaper anywhere that I know of.

    If you aren't in a hurry you can haunt ebay. There are some tartan sellers there that offer fabric for pretty good deals, though I don't remember the last time I saw Campbell Ancient.

    You do not want to skimp on the yardage for a great kilt. I have a 44 hip and need five yards of tartan for my great kilt to fit properly and look good.


    Five yards around a 44 hip and a 35 waist.
