Great photos and a pleasure to meet Alex on Skype the other day.

So glad you have been well received over there, Alex - that BC hospitality is unique and made quite an impression on me four years ago.
Thanks, all you BC guys, for taking care of our Alex - he's quite the fellow!
Take care,
Ham.
[PS: The Nanaimo Bars! Oh yeesssssss! I remember them well - once consumed, never forgotten!]

Well I am still in Canada. Arrived at Vancouver Airport 11:30 Wednesday to find flight delayed till early evening. Spent a pleasant afternoon exploring downtown Vancouver and Stanley Park. Returned to the airport, we got on the plane then were told there was a glitch with its computer and we had to disembark. So much for these new fangled fly by wire planes. The airline put me into a nice hotel in Vancouver, so an extra day under the blue skies of Canada! The plan at the moment is to get the flight away later today and I would then arrive home some time on Friday. Will post some pics once I get them organised.

Ask Hamish, I'm willing to bet he remembers those.
I am sorry I missed the visit and the kilt night. I had really hoped to head over, but in all honesty have not been on the site much and missed the final details. I hope you had a good trip Alex and that all was well with Ann when you got home.

Well I have just arrived home today, Friday. I will be going to visit Ann later today.
A big thankyou to The Wizard of BC and Kilted Knome for putting up with me around their house for a whole week and for hosting the kilt night. It was wonderful to meet them again and to meet for the first time with BigMikey, Raphael and MacMan.
I will post a few of my Canada photos later.
