All I know is what I witness. I've only been to Scotland only twice and for both occasions I went to a Highland games in which a few showed up in period dress, or a mix. They were Brits, not tourists.

I was not really talking about Highland games more like an in the street situation. But you are right! You never know who, or, what you are going to see at a Highland games these days!I also conceed that one should not make assumptions, even though we do!
