Tracing surnames from 1881 to 1998
For anybody wanting to trace a surname, and how it has spread across Alba, Sassen and A' Chuimrigh (Scotland, England and Wales), here's a good link:
http://www.nationaltrustnames.org.uk/Surnames.aspx
First you choose which year to look at 1881 or 1998, and then type in a surname.
