Thanks for the update. Sadly, I'll still be down in Tucson at the business conference that night. Best to all that are able to make it. Ironic, that's my old stomping grounds for the 30+ years I lived in Phoenix - Christown, Moon Valley, Deer Valley areas. Ate many a meal at the Boston Market at 19th Ave and Northern once they opened it up.

I will be able to attend this very sad event, Craig was the first member I met when I decided to join. I will miss him greatly.

I would love to attend. Well, I wouldn't love to... but I wish I could be there. Craig made me feel right at home when I went to Phoenix. Next time I'm there, I'll really miss him.

I wonder if this practice might be incoporated into Red's wake, if there is one:
At my late great aunt's funeral we were offered a dram and some oatmeal biscuits, as well as other food and drink. The dram and oatmeal biscuits were the minimum to be offered to all guests travelling, from whatever distance, and also fitted in with Highland hospitality customs.

Still sad prior business commitments preclude joining the rabble for Craig's send off.
I did pull off the Interstate on the way to Tucson and did a kilted drive by of the Open Door Fellowship Sunday. Then stopped for lunch at the Boston Market at 19th and Northern to hoist some unfermented grain (Turkey San) in his honor and to contemplate his most sudden passing.
Will be there in spirit Thursday night.

Geography prevents me from attending. I will also be there in spirit.

We're going to lift a dram to Craigs memory at the X Marks Throw Party on Sunday, and also each day at the tent at the Pleasanton Games.

Craig will be sorely missed here at XMarksTheScot. Geography will not allow me to attend his service, but I'll say a prayer for his family, and have a wee dram in his honour tomorrow evening. May God grand comfort to his family.
