Help with posting a picture
Under the Traditional Highgland Dress - What would the Victorian's think? thread, I've tried today to load up a photo using the guidelines I've mentioned as detailed on X Marks. There seems to be a problem.
I put the at either end of the URL but, as you can see, I just get a small square with a red cross on the actual posting. The picture comes from one of my Facebook photo albums and, as I say in the thread, I'd rather not put the URL in the thread as it'd open up my Facebook to all and sundry.
I'm a clutz where computers are concerned, so any answer you give me needs to be in very basic, line by line, language.
Thanks
Bruce

The best thing to do is to open up a photobucket account. It is free at
www.photobucket.com
Once you follow their instructions as to how to upload a photo there, the problem is how to get it to show here. So what you do is find the IMG code it can be found under your uploaded image you'll have to scroll your mouse over the photo first to see it but the IMG code is clearly marked as in the screen shot below:
If you've got any other problems let me know.

Thanks, Glen, I'll give it a go!
