Congratulations and very well done Ern,
It was my pleasure to be your guide and share with you what little knowledge I have off my beautiful area, I look forward to your next visit, and more to the point your further installments on this thread.

Of course, he cannot escape that question. His response that I've heard him say several times now is “he doesn't bother us and we don't bother him." When asked what he sees, he replies it’s a sense of presence or sense of movement but not seeing anything. You do know that XMarker, ThatCelticBand has written a song about the piper ghost of Duntrune, called The Warning. Shawn and the lads perform it rather well, IMHO.

Day 10 – Travels Along Loch Awe
Good morning, Duff!
Redshanks retrieves me at the B&B and we are off on new adventure!
Traveling along Loch Awe, Chris asks, “Do you want to see a beautiful waterfall?”
We pull off to the side of the road.
It’s a Robbie Red day!

Some cousins of Duff.
A little further down the road, we stop to take some pix of Kilchurn Castle from across the Loch.

Day 10 – Travels Along Loch Awe: Duncan Ban MacIntyre Monument
The view was spectacular from the high hill over Loch Awe!
Stayed tuned we travel on to Kilchurn Castle and the unveiling of the arty farty shot.

Fabulous photos, Ern, I've just spent the last hour and a half catching up all I'd missed on this thread while I'd been away. And we have still the remainder of your Scottish photos and all of France to look forward to! You really reached some parts of Scotland which I as a native have not yet been to. The pics of Poltalloch House and of Arichonan Village are particularly poignant.
