Wonderful kilt! I'm sure it will be difficult to be apart from it until Christmas.

Thanks for the compliments, everybody!
'Cousin' Ron, you're absolutely right...Kathy does an amazing job! Purely amazing.
And yes, it's going to be really hard to part with it 'til Christmas. But that will give me time to invest in building a cedar chest for it.
I'm told I may need to invest in a Civil War short jacket to wear with this kilt, as my frock coat would cover it. However, I bet my WWII era Battle Dress jacket will look good with it!

I'm sure Ron would agree with you about the Ike jacket.

Welcome to the brotherhood! I love my IOS and wear it as often as I can. But a Kathy Lare WOW, now that is a present worth treasuring.

Nulty, you look great in your Isle of Skye. Great looking sporan, too!

The kilt, jacket, and waistcoat are fantastic! In my opinion I'd change the shirt, sporran, and hose.

My jacket was a bit wrinkled at the bottom, so I'll iron that later. But changing the things listed won't be for a long time...my budget is pretty tight. But black is the dominant colour - basically only colour - in my standard wardrobe. But future plans are to get a brown leather sporran. I'll take suggestions for future hose...
