I'm a Pennsylvania boy so by far it is Yuengling Lager and then Murphy's Irish Stout and then whatever is dark and on tap.

This is hard to narrow down, but, among many others:
Phillips IPA when I'm at home,
Dogfish Head IPA when I'm in the east,
    Deuchars IPA when in Scotland,
Four Peaks Kilt Lifter when in Arizona,
    Keoki Gold when on Kaua'i,
and if it's Guinness, not too cold please.
So many beers, so little time . . .

Well Guinness is the favorite, and after that the redneck in me likes a good ole Pabst Blue Ribbon.

We might need another thread for this, but since someone mentioned it. . .

Worst beer ever was some Indian brew (served with really good Indian chow) that tasted of formaldehyde! That was in Irvine CA.

Not Kingfisher, I've had that at an Indian restaurant in UK and have the pub glass to prove it :o)

Stout all the way! Guinness on tap, Guinness extra stout in the bottle. There was a Stout that I really liked called "Black Witch" but I can't find it anymore

Full Boar Scotch Ale is indeed a fine local brew treat!
Chocolate Stout such as Young's Double Chocolate Stout is not real easy to find, but worth the search.
I recently got turned on to Beamish Irish Stout. It is like Guinness, but with a slightly smoother aftertaste.
Belhaven Ale is great when I can find it, or even the more rare Belhaven Stout!

    Mmmm, so many fine choices...
