Their site is well.. interesting 
I am all for people trying to understand cultures or the past through "hands on activities"..led by academics or experts.
I can see how this could infuriate you.. it makes me scratch my head. I have no idea what to tell you. I would avoid them and just have a good time.. but that's just passive me.
