Yes but you do realise if you do that it keeps me from my pint for another ten seconds that is outrageous. You will also note I am not a tourist or a lady. I would be most worried if you put my name on the top of my Guinness.

In my local asking for a lager and lime would get you tossed out as they do not do cocktails there.

Sounds like my kind of pub.

I tended bar and managed a nightclub for 15 years or so in an earlier life... drank (and sometimes over-drank) most every kind of malted beverage you can name... lots of flirtations with this label or that one, a one night stand or two with the latest hip brew... in the end, the only one I'd marry is a properly pulled pint of Guinness. No frills (and not too cold, btw)

Love Troeg's too. But they are in Harrisburg, not Lancaster. Unless they have recently expanded. (That's a happy thought.) Must also give a shout to Troeg's Mad Elf seasonal brew.

My brother and I had lunch last week at the Hood River brewery. I am a fan of their barleywine (though I like Rogue's barleywine better), but their brewmaster brought out samples of his Imperial Stout aged in whisky casks.

    Serious yummage! int:

Unfortunately, they only serve it on draught, so I will have to bring it back in my memory.

    D'oh.

In my defence, I may have been drunk the last time I looked at the label.

I'll keep an eye out for Mad elf. Thanks!

Big fan of Custom BrewCrafters (Honeoye Falls, NY outside Rochester) Double Cream Porter as well as Guiness and the Blue Fin Stout by Shipyard Brewery.

Recently rediscovered the Shandy made with some Genny Cream Ale and lemonade...great on a hot summer day.
