My pal isn't into kilts but he did wear his MacKenzie jacket, here is a candid shot as he takes a pic of one of the birds of prey

Including the Armstrongs

Then one of the Armstrongs got involved in helping out the falconer with his display.

As a Cunningham I had to get my photograph taken beside the forked sycamore tree - Over Fork Over !!!

Sulwath had the beer tent with a special Homecoming brew

I've already covered Langholm Castle in another thread some time ago but no visit to the Castle Holm would be complete without concluding with a few shots at the castle.
Here the Tourist Interpretation Board depicts the castle in its heyday.

One giant leap for mankind. I wonder if the Armstrongs who lived here could ever have foreseen that one of their descendents, Neil Armstrong, would one day be the first man to set foot on the moon.
