    New Kilt?

Think of getting a new kilt something hope fully a bit cooler calling on the owners of PV kilts, I was thinking of getting a semi traditional from USAK. Anyone lend their thoughts on the comparison between traditional wool and the pv kilts... are they somewhat cooler? Hoping to get the order in this week...

I've got one Semi-Traditional kilt in Black Stewart from USAKilts. I'd say the PV does not really compare to a wool kilt, however it is as close as you will get without going to a wool kilt. Here is my review and photos from when I got it.

PV can be as warm as wool. The difference is in the weight. A 16 oz wool kilt will weight 4 lbs. PV will be about 1-2 lbs. Is it really cooler? That is a personal preference. My take is that PV is easier to take care of and therefore better for warmer engagements.
