Starfleet needs a Tartan

The 501st Legion (Star Wars costuming group) has a detachment called 'The Kilted Trooper Brigade' (The Best Dressed Troops in the Galaxy).

The tartan they use is the Imperial Highlander tartan or "Prince of Wales". They don't require you to have just that tartan. You can wear just about any kilt as long as it is professional looking. I am getting ready to make one of the X-kilts for myself.

if there is going to be a tartan for Star Wars, i think there should be one for Babylon 5

On my SWK, Leatherneck Kilt my kilt pin is a TNG Star Trek communicator pin.

I was once asked if I was active duty, I promptly started to explain that I wore the Leathr neck Tartan to recognize my Uncle, a 32 year Marine, and all those who serve. The Fellow asking me the question, looked puzzled and said no Star Fleet!
