My girlfriend and I were up there visiting my uncle and aunt last year. The people at the church that they go to were kidding my uncle saying I needed to get him in a kilt. A couple of men there told my uncle he should have called them and they would have worn their kilts also.
The last couple of days we were in Halifax going up the hill to the Citadel National Historic Site. It's like a fort on the top of the city hill. These 2 girls come running up to us and ask to take my picture! I answered "Aye". I didn't have the heart to tell them I'm from the States! Enjoy your time there.
Cheers, Leslie

I'm so glad you're having such a great time in my adopted province of Nova Scotia. A little late for any highland games, and (hopefully) a little early for the fall colours, but the hospitality of Nova Scotians shines through at any time of year!
If you're in Halifax at any time of your visit, you must drop into the Old Triangle (best choice) or the Split Crow for some maritime fun. And, post to the Nova Scotia board to set up some kilted company!

Not bad choices, but the best in the city is Celtic Corner!
