Thanks everybody - a great set of pictures. A bonus getting to see people in two different kilts in the same thread.
Galician - stunning kilt, I can't say more than that. I am sure, I saw Chicago back in '66, but I don't remember it looking as good as that!
Landscape is all very well, but every now and again it is nice to see a cityscape. Thanks again.
Regards
Chas

Thanks for posting the pictures lads. I'm sorry that my wife and I were unable to join you all this year. We had a busy weekend with work and taking our Boy Scout Venture Crew rock climbing. Hope to get up to see you all soon.

Sorry we didn't make it...
My wife sidetracked us to the 15th Anniversary Beer-B-Q for Bloodshot Records at The Hideout. I went kilted anyway - I just dressed it down with boots and my "What's Under The Kilt" t-shirt. A fellow party-goer took some photos of my wife and I but I have, as yet, not seen them.
Took part in a drunken spelling bee. After each successful word spelled, you had to take a shot. I acquitted myself well enough, although I didn't win. There was another Carl in the competition, so I was always announced as "Kilted Carl."

Well, Kilted Carl, you were missed, but it sounds like you upheld the honor of the Chicago Kilted social group in the spelling bee.

Sorry for the delay in adding these pics, but I've been trying to figure this system out.
Another view of the Rabble

and Brew Boy showed up!

At the end of the first day, the lights of the Windy City (see how shaky the camera was? ) I was soaked in sweat from dancing with the SCDS.

Here I am with a band member from the Canadian group Caledonia

In front of part of the old Water Tower

At the top of the John Hancock Building

The rabble after the closing concert on Sunday night

That's all, folks!

Reason: it's tower, not town!
