A Serendipitous Encounter!
I had to vist the grocery store today, to pick up a few essentials. On a whim, I decided to wear my kilt.
As I was finishing my shopping, a very kind lady stopped me to ask about my tartan. It happens that she and her husband, who was also present, are heavily involvedin the NE Florida Highland Games. They informed me that they are always looking for volunteers, and I expressed interest in helping out.
Well, we've exchanged e-mails and I may have found a new extracurricular activity!

Now here is another proof that kilts are made to be worn as much as possible !
Nice encounters often if not always happen.
Best,

Way to represent and congratulations, KD!
BTW - Sorry I missed the Halfway to St Pat's Day Block Party at O'Brother's Pub - the seasonal flu took its toll on the wife (i had my fun 2 weeks ago). Needless to say she would've given me a particularly harsh kilt check if I even THOUGHT about going!

No problem! I stayed long enough for three beers and a plate of fish and chips. Nice time!
