Another tale from the Nova Scotia wedding
Before we left for Nova Scotia, the bride borrowed one of my sporrans for the groom to wear on their wedding day. It was a rabbit fur sporran from Stillwater Kilts. I have only worn it twice.
The Groom wore it with a red Fraser kilt and he looked good in it. I didn't know whether anyone commented on it, but I am sure everyone liked the look. It may not be a seal skin sporran, but not all of us are made of money.
During the reception, I told the Groom to keep the sporran. I didn't want it back after he wore it on his wedding day. I will forever associate that sporran with his wedding day. Nothing will change that. It wasn't a tough decision as I got another semi-dress sporran to use in the future.

A very good hearted gesture.. It will mean more to him.. For you it's an item, for him, a keepsake that will constantly remind him of the special day.
