I have a pair of long boots that I wear for 1830's period (John MacGregor and other early TX history events) that were made by Missouri Boot and Shoe. They are of excellent quality and will last forever, probably. A word of caution - Be generous in your self-measurements as my boots are just a bit snug in the ankles, but tolerable without discomfort.
