Information please...
Where are you currently located? If you are in the States or Canada, there are plenty of reputable kilt makers on this side of the pond. Now, if you want to go to Scotland, by all means go to Scotland - I just want to make sure you are aware of other possibilities.
Will you be the only kilted gent at the wedding - or part a larger contingent of kilted gents? You may need to think about co-ordinating your kit with the rest of the group. For a wedding, the kilt is just the beginning, you may need other costly items as well.
Do you see this as a "one-off" experience or the beginning of a larger commitment to kilt wearing?
Finally, are you working with a set budget? If so - about how much would you like to spend?
A bit more information may help us provide better advice.
Welcome to XMarks and good luck!
