My guid friend Alex frae Leith was a Hearts man (although his sons were Hibernian supporters) and at his funeral, I wore my Hearts scarf -- his eldest wore his Dad's.

My support for the Hearts stems from the 16th Battalion, Royal Scots (McCrae's Battalion), which contained a number of Hearts players, in the First World War:

Although I've heard of some of the teams on the list, I'm afraid that I don't know diddly about their relative merits, thus I feel unqualified to cast a vote. If was to vote however, I'd pick Motherwell, becasue your Mother should be, you know....well.

The Bhoys! When I was 11 we lived in Scotland for 3 months my dad said as I was catholic I was a Celtic supporter. So that is who I support. (this from my dad who is protestent, but he supported Clyde! Living in parkhead this was apparently the safe team to support)

Although it is a challenge in a wee rural town in Alberta, Canada!
