Fabulous pics, Phil, brings back happy memories, as you may know I am 25% Northern Irish having had an Irish grandfather. There are few relatives left there now, most of that family went to Canada, though I still visit Portadown once or twice a year, usually only as a day trip by Easyjet.

Excellent! The Antrim Coast is one of my most favorite places in the world. Did you go to Carrick-a-Rede?

Those are splendid, wish I had gone there. I was in the County Mayo area in June but didn't find it all that great. It was a bus trip so we went where we were taken. Oh dear, prices in the south are steep - not helped by the weaker pound. Felt for the long journey that I had left better at home. Much preferred the ring of Kerry the year before.

We did go to the car park (which was free last time we were there about 10 years ago) but it was so busy we didn't bother as we had been before. It is interesting geologically as the remains of a volcanic vent.
