Good to hear that the future of kilt wearing is secure in Wisconsin.

Be careful. You may have created a monster, and he will be in your closet the rest of the year.

I too want to add my good wishes and hope that it was a good experience for him.
Please let us know how it went.
I love it when my sons wear their kilts!

That is great. I'm happy for you and your son. I would never have been that brave at that age. Do you have a pict to go along with the day?

I've said it before on other posts....I applaud the bravery and self confidence of teens that have the guts to step outside of the norm like this!! I have it now, but I never would have had it back in High school. Good for him and I hope that you've created yet another kilt-wearer!

I didn't take a picture. He would not stand still for it. I understand, kilted or not, I hate getting my picture taken too!

It went as expected. Some kids thought it was OK, others tried to make fun of him. He said one guy was making fun of him and he replied that "You are just jealous because I make this look good and you wouldn't." Perfect answer followed by a turn around and walking away proud. He gets that sense of humor from his father.
