Jack Daw, DO NOT die until you have visited. What are you doing next weekend?

BTW, there used to be an Irish pub across from the German restaurant, but I don't know if it's still there.

And . . .Conyers, where I live, is only about a 20 minute drive from Stone Mountain, but we have an excellent Celtic Tavern where we've been hosting the Burns Suppers every year. You are welcome to make the trek over here if you like on Friday evening. It would be an easier drive than going into Atlanta for sure, and it's a lot more laid back and friendly when you get here. I'll meet anyone there who's coming.

Or . . .you could go to the Irish pub called James Joyce which is not too far from Stone Mountain. Someone sing out. I vote for Conyers, but then I live here. Here's a map to James Joyce: http://maps.google.com/maps?hl=en&um...image&resnum=1

Sense I'm driving in from Florida, I will have to be a follower in this case. I am staying at the Holiday Inn one exit North of the Stone Mountain exit. Which is closer? Which serves the BEST food? That's the most important item!

I wouldn't miss the SMHG for anything. The better half and I will be staying in the park camp ground, arriving on Tuesday afternoon and leaving Sunday afternoon. We have been there since 2001 and enjoy it very much. The only problem I have is that there are so many great vendors that I usually go home broke!

All the folks who put on that game deserve kudos for the fine job they do considering there is upwards of 50,000 folks there in two days Also do not miss the parade of clans on Sunday. It is great!

When we are not roaming around we will be in the Clan Maclaine of Lochbuie clan tent. Stop by a say hello, I'll be the one with the Indiana Commissioner's badge. I will also try to be at the Gordan tent at 1PM on saturday.

Well now are we any closer to something firm for Friday evening?

Oo, I can't go this year. I have to plan these things; but, for such travel, I usually have to schedule a vacation day or two. It gives me something to look forward to.
