To Pin or Not to Pin?

These are my favorite kilt pins.

I love the way this pin blends in with the white line making it seem that the stripe has been tied into a knot!

I'm with the minority - I did have a kilt pin get caught, it did rip the kilt apron, and as a result I only wear a pin on dress occasions. Especially with the number of jumping dogs I encounter in casual situations.

When I do wear a kiltpin, I also stay away from the "sword" type. My favorites are my X Marks kilt pin and one similar to this:
