    BTW, Theodore Roosevelt was also a Scottish Rite Freemason.

    But a point to remember, the Ancient & Accepted Scottish Rite of Freemasonry has very little to do with Scotland itself, and that the AASR is an appendant body of freemasonry. TR's mother lodge was Matinecock No. 806, affiliated with the Grand Lodge of New York.
