A kilted lad from North Carolina
Greetings fellow kilted people! I am the youngest son of one of the moderators of this site, Tartan Hiker. He makes kilts in his spare time (when he isn’t dealing with my brother and me or doing stuff around the house), and he has made most of my kilts! I have 5 kilts right now, and will have more when dad makes them for me.

from the Big Apple! Nice to see you appreciating it with your father.
Now you just need to post a family portrait.

I tried to ask my inner curmudgeon before posting, but he sprayed me with the garden hose…
Yes, I have squirrels in my brain…

Well, this photo is 3 years old, but here we are. That kilt now fits him just right!

Welcome to the forum Snakeman...just getting into kilts myself...currently the owner of an ACU Sportkilt and a 16oz Tartan. Your dad's work on the ABU kilt among others has inspired me (as I've done a fair amount of sewing in my day)...I think I can make a much better ACU kilt than the Sportkilt...so that's a challenge I'll be taking on when I get back home from Afghanistan. My son is 11 and I envision that I'll be encouraging him to don the kilt as well!
