I will have to talk to the captain of the Disney cruise ship my wife and son are taking me on next week to see if he is a scotch drinker, and maybe I can get him to make a little detour from our Caribbean course. Heck with a table set with that much scotch I think I would buy two tickets just for myself----it would be too hard to limit my choices and desires to only 12.
Y'all enjoy yourselves. Pictures NOT necessary unless you go kilted.

So here's what didn't happen tonight...
A few score Scotches were scattered throughout the large liquor store, ranging in price (and quality) from 20$ a bottle to over 200$. Some really good batches... though I've really just confirmed that Glenmorangie is my favourite maker, as all of their varieties were at the top of my list after trying over a dozen different types. I'm not particularly fond of Laphroig but tried their Quarter Cask... tasted like I was sucking on a piece of burnt hickory. Also tried Ballanties 21, Dewars Signature, Dalmore King Alexander, and a couple other higher-end Scotches. Compared Johnnie Black and Gold, and the gold is noticeably more complex; the black is almost bland by comparison. But Glenmorangie Signet was the best >200$ IMHO, and Glenmorangie Nectar d'Or is probably still my fav Scotch all told.
Anyway... I was there in my Ferguson Modern with a lovat green Lochcarron Argylle jacket and charcoal tweed waistcoat. There were 2.5 other kilties there that I saw. One vendor (for Chivas) was wearing a Dark Island kilt with PC, one employee in a khaki UK, and one vendor who saw me and lamented that he wasn't wearing his Gordon kilt. Met a woman who was a member of the North Texas Clan Association or somesuch, and generally got several nice compliments. A few people with silly remarks like "I wonder where he's going?" (en route to the Scotch tasting), and "Are you sure you're at the right place?" after I was there.
So why didn't this happen? No pictures... sorry guys

I think, in that situation, it is entirely understandable. You are forgiven.
