How delightful - I can imagine you sitting patiently, sharpie in hand, taking your ghillie brogues to the next level while counting each and every step in the re-broguing process!

Sounds like a tedious process, but it also sounds like you ended up with good results.

Actually, it only takes about five minutes to shine both shoes, and about another five or ten minutes to do the brogue-ing. All in, including taking the new puppy out for a pee, I doubt I spent more than 20 minutes doing two pair of shoes. Even if it took an hour, I'd still do it as (at least to me) well-polished shoes are always worth the time, effort, and energy expended.

So, you figure MoR has large feet?

    Unlike Bo Derek, I'm still a 10.

What size Sharpie are you using, fine point? extra fine point?
One should always keep a range of sharpies, at the bike shop they conceal scatches in any new black frames and bike parts. They're wonderfully useful for the most random of things.

Is that a British 10 or American?

To disect a questionable shoe problem like that.............. one was probably in the millitary. Ah, brings back memories. I like the sharpie fix. Not available when I was polishing low quarters!
