    military kilt numbers

I forget how to decipher the numbers on a military kilt for the measurements, I know ones for the waist, hip and length but are they in centimeters or millimeters?

    170 72 88

PS yes i've searched, i can't find the thread.

It's actually Height, Waist, and Breech (Hips).

    So: 5' 6", 28 1/3", and 34 2/3"

    I would prefer something like 6'5", 38", 42". What's up with that?

It'd probably be closer to 5' 6½" to 5' 7". But I suppose that probably doesn't help either!

Military kilts, especially old ones, are notoriously small for the modern man!
