Even the half wetsuit made a huge difference. It was a bit cold, truth be told, but a lot more enjoyable than body surfing with just swim trunks. So there is something to be said for keeping your core warm. I was able to stay out in the water for a lot longer than before. I don't know if if was the cold or fighting the currents but boy was I tired when I got home!
