With the threatening weather in store for us, is there anybody still going on Sat? I am wearing my kilt, but will probably be wearing monk's garb over it. And carrying a raincoat.

We are still planning to go Saturday. Albannach plays the Blackfriars Theatre at Noon, 1:30, 3:30, and 5:30. The Rogues follow the 1:30 show, and precede and follow the 5:30 show.

We still plan on going, but I don't think I am going to risk the kilt in the weather. Not that I am afraid of getting it wet, but it is my only kilt so far and will be my "nice, dress up" kilt once I get some others. So look for the red Georgia Bulldogs hat instead.

Current weather prediction is for this rain to stop (mostly) tomorrow afternoon. I hope so, that is when we will be there. Frank, are you working tomorrow?

Not working Sunday, but worried about having wife out in cold and damp. Heer immune system is comprimsied and I don't want her to get sick. I will keep her home under the blanket in front of the boob tube. You all go and have a good time. I will try it again nest year.

The rain was a real damper on the festival. I can handle wet and I can handle cold, but I can't handle wet and cold. We did stop by the great kilt purveyor's and if she had had a tartan that I liked, I believe the wife would have bought it on the spot (she tracks our finances, I need a calculator to add 2 and 2). Other than that, loved getting to see the Rogues - one of my favorite groups - for the first time in about 3 years. Looking forward to next year!!!

The weather did put a damper on things. Found Meinfs at the first, and only?, Albannach set. Brian Boru found me at the wooden sword shop while the boys were choosing blades. Sorry I missed you rdjmchris, never saw any red Bulldogs caps. Didn't get any pictures either, though Mein did get one of us at the Dragon Inn after Albannach played. Perhaps he will put it up later.

Albannach was worth going and getting drenched. I had not heard them before. Caught the end of the Rouges first show. They were good too.

Hopefully next year will feature better weather, though I suppose low 40s and rain was appropriate for Scottish weekend.

Sunday afternoon wasn't so bad, the rain had stopped - the mud hadn't however . Albannach had several good sets, as did the Rogues. Lots of different kilts. Got myself some nice hose for $10/pr at Wolfstone Kilts. See you all next year!
