Back to North Carolina
Catherine and I are planning on going down to Franklin NC at the end of the month we will be there from the 30th until sometime the next week. I was hoping to have at least one kilt night, perhaps in Ashville or somewhere close to or even in Franklin.

This is some of our already lined up agenda that we have to work around.
Sunday, Nov 1st is out because my Mom is going to be doing a cookout for the family to introduce Glen formerly into the family.
Then Saturday the 31st is a mostly planned day. Charlotte has a Renn Faire going on and we're going to be going down to it on the 31st. Incidentally it's a free pass for Children that day. If we want to do a kilt gathering at the Faire that would work with us. Though later in the evening won't work because we're going to a Samhain gathering (again in Charlotte) where Glen and I will be getting a handfasting that is more in line to my religious beliefs.
Beyond that we're fairly open. I know that we'll not be staying to far into the first week of November because I'd rather not be away from the cats more than 7 days.

This is too bad as the Foothills Games are on Nov. 7 in Hendersonville. The Montreat pipe band and I will be there all day.

I will, however, stand ready to attend a kilt night event at the venue of your choosing, in Asheville or Franklin...just give me about 12 hours notice.

As long as we're talking about something on the weekend, I should be able to make it. The only conflicts I see are on the 8th and 15th of November when I have races.

Are you driving down? If so, maybe we could arrange a quick meet up when you pass through my area, even if it's just for lunch or something. (Of course, that's if you're coming through my area.)

Driving down, but I don't think we'll be anywhere near Frederick Maryland. I do have a T-Shirt from the Harley dealership in Frederick, from the last time I was down that way on my motorcycle in 1997.
