To get a really signifigant discount you'd want to order 30 yards.
The great thing about Dalgliesh is that they will do single kilt length runs. A lot of the larger mills won't touch orders for anything under 30 yards; those that will do a minimum 10 yards will charge an arm and a leg.
And the reality is that if all you want is a kilt, you don't really want to pay for a whole bolt of fabric, no matter how great the per yard price is. So order just a single kilt length. Even though you may pay more per yard, you don't have to pay for excess fabric you don't want or need.
