How does D.C. Dalgliesh price its short runs?

Another poster has been mentioning that he would like some Stewart Old Sett Weathered, which would have to be a custom run. D.C. Dalgliesh will do short runs, so he could get what he needs. I would also like a kilt in that tartan, but am broke at the moment. My question is whether we would get a lower price per yard ordering enough for two kilts at one time, or whether I should just keep saving.

Anybody know?

Have you double-checked with Lochcarron to make sure that they do not have this available in a stock fabric? It's listed on their website, although that doesn't always guarantee that they have it available...

No, John Hart (Sloihart) checked and confirmed that Lochcarron no longer has or weaves the Stewart Old Sett in weathered colors even though it is still shown on their website.
