Have you searched under the title "hunting pinks/pinque"? A friend of mine has a beautiful red tailcoat that he purchased from Huntsman London, it is a great variation at formal affairs. He had a lesser expensive one he purchased before the good one from Huntsman. I am not sure where he got that one.
Another option would be Ravistailor.com a Thailand custom tailor(don't laugh). I have had one blazer cut by them several years ago and it was not Saville Row but not bad. Their quality has improved since then. The same friend as I mentioned above has had several "very custom" items made by them(Think Duke of Windsor). They have a Spencer Jacket in their formal section that I have considered having made in red, if they don't have the fabric you could send it to them. My friend sent them several yards of tartan and had a dinner suit made in tartan. The prices are not give away but incredibly inexpensive for custom. A red spencer would probably cost between $200 and $400.
My suggestions, good luck.

A hunting tailcoat from Huntsman...I'd hate to see the bill for that! 3,4, 5K? Pounds. Bernard Weatherill might be a better equestrian tailor, now under the name of Kilgour.

As for that Harlequin PC, it looks like something you'd see at the Jockey's Ball.

I think a red PC is a worthy aspiration!
My own dream is a purple Sheriffmuir. I even have some fabric that might work, a sort of mulberry wool/rayon/etc blend, and just might fit the climate down here at 34 North.

Great coat, probably more than I would want to pay. Huntsman is known as one of the most expensive tailors on Saville Row.

All right, MacLowlife, I can see that you are going to take over here. Thankfully, I've been able to stop pestering the kilt makers since converting my Stillwater to a traditional kilt. I can crawl back into the woodwork and rest.
By the way, I suggest going with a black PC, but using a dark red five or six button, high throated waistcoat and a jabot, rather than a red PC.
I tried to ask my inner curmudgeon before posting, but he sprayed me with the garden hose…

You know these flash in the pan types- one day it's red PCs, the next it's just red ink... A generous member has put me in the know for a MTM one stateside. I just need to collect enough bottles and cans.
I do like the suggestions of a red dress mess and/ or a red vest with a black PC. I will probably try both whilst waiting on the Big Red. I think it will be grand. Since I never did spring for a bespoke kilt, I can almost justify the excellent price for this jacket. Do you reckon we could get it considered for inclusion under my vision care plan? I am getting red to match my eyes.
I haven't run across any Huntsman red/ scarlet / pink coats. I HAVE seen a B Wetherill one on eBay and it cost about what my car is worth. There is a Moss Bros one listed now ( I know- a far cry from the other guys, but it is 40-50 years old. ) Unfortunately, it is not big enough for the MacLowlife equator...
When I rule the world, the kilted will live tax free. Anyone wearing the X Marks tartan will be given even greater privileges and those who wear full mask sporrans will enjoy the well-deserved praise of a grateful populace...
But don't hold your breath- these MTM jobs take at least 6 weeks.
Oh and Happy Halloween
Some take the high road and some take the low road. Who's in the gutter? MacLowlife
