I believe this is what we are talking about:

Now, I know I have been known to wear some pretty outlandish kilts across the years, but I cannot really see myself wearing this sporran.
Perhaps it would look alright with a plain, scarlet kilt, a black Prince Charlie, white dress shirt and scarlet bow-tie, white hose with scarlet flashes, and black dress shoes ............ but, where could one possibly wear such an ensemble?
Take care,
Ham.
No. of Kilts: 102. "Title": Lord Hamish Bicknell, Laird of Lochaber / Life Member: The Scottish Tartans Authority / Life Member: The Royal Scottish Country Dance Society / Member: The Ardbeg Committee / My NEW Photo Album: Sadly, and with great regret, it seems my extensive and comprehensive album may now have been lost forever!/

To a Red Cross function, perhaps?

Cheers, Graham.
Surely you know that in the Swiss flag the cross doesn't extend to the edges like it does in the English one? Mind you, with the white 'fur' around the edges it could look like a Swiss flag from a distance, if you squint a bit.

Could be worn on St George's day or by renegade Scotsmen supporting the wrong team...

Ahem, gentlemen...

Today must be opposite day, now where did I put that memo stating this?
...And McClef, what do you mean the wrong team?

It is in truth not for glory, nor riches, nor honours that we are fighting, but for freedom -- for that alone, which no honest man gives up but with life itself.

Sorry, the Swiss flag and the Red Cross flag are negatives of eachother, now I'm getting confused ...

As an American who is half English, one-quarter Scottish, and one-quarter Irish, I think that sporran is pretty cool.
